2024 Stakeholders Forum

Lagos State Government is committed to develop the mass literacy programme to encourage rural dwellers and riverine areas to key into the mass advocacy programme.

Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Tolani Sule, stated this at the 2024 Stakeholders forum on Mass Literacy in Lagos State, organised by the Ministry of Tertiary Education in collaboration with the Agency for Mass Education.

Sule who spoke through his Director, Administration and Human Resource, Julianah Fadipe, urged the participants to support the government in ensuring quality service was provided to the citizens that patronise the centres in Lagos.

Also, the Director, Lagos State Agency for Mass Education, Oluwakemi Kalesanwo, said the forum aimed at seeking an end to non-literacy of all citizens, noting that education was paramount, which according to her goes beyond teaching.
