- Operates One Thousand One Hundred and Sixty Seven (1, 167) Basic/Post Literacy Centres in the State.
- Enrolled Eighty-One Thousand Six Hundred and Fifty-Nine (81,659) Basic Literacy Learners out of which Seventy-Nine Thousand, Seven Hundred and Twenty-Seven (79,727) Learners completed the programme.
- Advocacy visit/Sensitization Campaign in Rural and Riverine Communities of Irede, Itogbesa, Akarakumo, Ilogbo Eremi, Okorisan, Eredo, Imota and host of others.
- Conduct of several Sensitization/Mobilization Campaign across the State to create awareness for literacy education delivery.
- Procurement and distribution of learning materials to literacy centres in the State including Local Government Centres.
- Networking with Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) Faith Based Organization (FB)s), Community Based Organizations (CBOs) on literacy education i.e. Rotary Club, Baptist Convention, Action Health etc.
- Training of Three Hundred and Twenty (320) Facilitators and Seven Hundred and Fifty (750) Instructors of Adult Literacy Centres.
- Carry out Annual Adult Literacy Competition among Learners.
- Celebration of Interantional Literacy Day and graduation of Four Thousand Two Hundred (4,200) Neo Literates.
- Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U) with UNESCO and NMEC on Literacy Initiative for Empowerment (LIFE) via Literacy by Radio programme.
- Airing of Literacy by Radio as “Eko moo ko moo ka” on Eko F.M. 107.5
- Establishment of Integrated Early Child Care Centres in collaboration with UNICEF.
- Presentation of Sixteen Thousand Six Hundred and Forty (16,640) Candidates through Continuing Education Centre for May/June WAEC examination.
- Provisional approval to operate Continuing Education Centres was granted to One Hundred and Seventy-Six (176) Public Centres and One Hundred and Twenty-Five (126) Privately owned Centres.
- Establishment/Operation of Vocation Training Centres in collaboration with 20 Local Government 37 Local Council Development areas and Non Governmental Organization (NGOs)
- Graduation/Empowerment of One Thousand Five Hundred (1500) Vocational trainees in Catering, Fashion Designing/Embroidery, Soap Making, Hairdressing, Event Decoration, etc.
- Presentation of Two Hundred and Fifty (250) Trainees of Vocational Centres for National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB). Some of these trainees are presently engaged at Lagos Airport Hotel, Selino Suits, Eko Hotels, Savory Suits and So many eateries.
