Vocational Training Centre donated to the Agency for Mass Education by the Rotary Club of Nigeria, District 9110 commissioned on Monday 14th May, 2018

Agency for mass education partners with various stakeholders like:

LGAs/LCDAs, FBOs, market associations, NGOs among which is the rotary club of Nigeria. The collaboration serves as a vehicle for eradication of illiteracy in the state in this regard.

The following trades will be offered at the centre free of charge:

Catering, fashion, hairdressing, code Lagos, digital training, phone repair, shoe making, event decoration, bead making and music.

The rotary district governor, Rotarian Dr. Adewale Ogunbadejo stated categorically that the rotary club will be handing over the centre to the agency for mass education for sustainability and maintenance.

The agency met on several occasions with the rotary district governor, Rotarian Dr. Adewale Ogunbadejo to give advice on the construction of the centre, trades to be offered and equipment to be purchased for the centre.

The rotary in collaboration with the agency laid the foundation of the non-formal vocational training centre, Igbogbo on 11th October, 2017.

The building will be commissioned on Monday 14th may, 2018.
